Ambassador of Montenegro to the OSCE in Vienna Slavica Milačić handed a letter of the Prime Minister of Montenegro Duško Marković to Director of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) Ingibjörg Sólrún Gísladóttir, in which the PM Marković informs her that Democratic Party of Socialists an its coalition partners have launched initiative aimed at implementing recommendations of the OSCE/ODIHR entitled in the final report of the OSCE Observation Mission during the last year's parliamentary elections in Montenegro.

PM Marković underlined that the Government does not want to deal with this unilaterally, having in mind that the boycott of the Parliament is such a sensitive issue, but to voice willingness to fully contribute to improving the electoral legislation throughout implementation of the OSCE recommendations, as well as to ensure the consent of all the political parties in pursuing this objective of a national interest without bringing it into the relation with the opposition's attitude towards the regular work of the Parliament.

“Therefore, we think that the OSCE, as such a respectable organisation, is the best address for seeking support and help in order to convene a meeting with all parliamentary political parties aimed at discussing the joint work on adopting the OSCE’s recommendations,” PM Markovič pointed out in his letter to Director of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) Ingibjörg Sólrún Gísladóttir.
