PM Marković pays official visit to Republic of Macedonia

Prime Minister Duško Marković arrived in Skopje on an official visit to the Republic of Macedonia at the invitation of Macedonian Prime Minister Zoran Zaev.

In honour of Prime Minister Marković, a formal reception is organised outside the headquarters of the Government of the Republic of Macedonia.

Prime Ministers Marković and Zaev are holding tête-à-tête talks, after which they will be joined by members of the delegations of the two countries.

It is expected that some of the topics of discussion will be the deepening of the bilateral cooperation between the two friendly countries by defining concrete joint activities and projects that could be expected in the upcoming period, exchanging views on current bilateral, regional and international issues, as well as discussing issues of importance for the Euro-Atlantic integration of the Republic of Macedonia.

Following official talks, prime ministers Marković and Zaev will give public statements and answer questions from Montenegrin and Macedonian journalists.

Later today, the Prime Minister of Montenegro will also speak with the President of the Republic of Macedonia Gjorge Ivanov.

On Tuesday, Prime Minister Marković will take part in the Summit of 100 business leaders of Southeast Europe, which will be held in Skopje on 16 and 17 October.

Minister of Transport and Maritime Affairs Osman Nurković is also visiting the Republic of Macedonia with the Prime Minister.
