Prime Minister Duško Marković met today with British barrister Cherie Blair during the Global Citizen Forum in Sveti Stefan.

The meeting expressed mutual interest in cooperation with Cherie Blair’s law firm Omnia Strategy specialised in arbitration, mediation and public law.

Prime Minister Marković briefed Cherie Blair about the Government's results on the foreign policy and economic plan and informed her that the foreign policy is now focused on the end of accession negotiations on EU membership, and the internal plan is focused on further institution building and improvement of their work, the rule of law and continuous improvement of the business environment.

Cherie Blair has offered assistance to Montenegro in the process of building and strengthening the capacities of its institutions and public administration, as well as in the overall increase in the efficiency of its administration. It has been agreed that communication on this topic will be continued.
