Press conference following 45th Cabinet session

PR ServicePodgorica, Montenegro (19 October 2017) -- Press conference following 45th Cabinet session was held today, 19 October 2017, at the Press Centre of the Government.

At today's session, the Government adopted the Environmental Report in Montenegro with a proposal of measures to reduce the negative impact on the environment, which reflects the general state of the environment in Montenegro for 2016.

General Director of the Directorate for Environment Ivana Vojinović informed the public about the basic findings of this year's monitoring programme.

According to her, based on the assessment of the current state of the environment, a set of measures is defined in order to reduce the negative impact on the environment. On the other hand, a special Action Plan is defined as well, in which the competent institutions are obliged to implement the necessary measures in order to further improve the state of the environment in Montenegro.

General Director of the Directorate for General Secondary, Secondary Vocational and Adult Education Veljko Tomić introduced the public with the Information on Practical Education at employers in the academic year 2017/2018, adopted at today’s Cabinet session.

General Director Tomić emphasised that Information represents the challenge and response of the education system to the constant need to align education with the labor market.

He stressed that after ten years, the assumptions to start with the re-use of dual education in Montenegro are created, adding that about 115 employers were interested in the dual education programme in Montenegro, and that these are the most prestigious hotel chains as well as other sectors of the economy.
