Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Policy and Financial System and Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Milutin Simović said that the further economic growth of Montenegro depends largely on our readiness to take advantage of the potentials of tourism, transport, energy and agriculture.

Addressing the participants of the Second Conference of Honourary Consuls of Montenegro organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Deputy Prime Minister informed the honorary consuls that international institutions and organisations, such as the World Bank, the International Investment Fund, the European Investment Bank and the European Investment Bank for Reconstruction and Development, have been engaged in priority infrastructure projects in Montenegro and in the Western Balkans region, which is a good basis for cooperation between international financial institutions and organisations, private investors and the Government of Montenegro.

DPM Simović thanked the honorary consuls for their work so far and urged them to continue improving the relations between Montenegro and the countries in which they are engaged.
