Prime Minister Duško Marković paid today visit to Mojkovac i visited the construction site of the street in the village of Rudnica and the final activities on arranging the walkway, track and lighting in the Sports Zone at the former tailings.

The contractors informed the Prime Minister about the ongoing activities on these projects. Namely, the works on the construction of a sports zone, which includes the walkway and bike path with a total length of 1,600 m, are in the final phase.

PM Marković expressed his satisfaction with the works since his last visit to Mojkovac two months ago, but warned of the need to comply with the deadlines for construction of the street in Rudnica, especially considering the completion of the construction season due to weather conditions in the north.

The Prime Minister shared his satisfaction with the fact that Mojkovac will soon get a modern tourist zone that will be recognisable in the wider area. He particularly emphasised the importance of the former tailings, the ecological black spot of Montenegro, which is not only rehabilitated but used to create development and new opportunities.
