Cetinje, Montenegro (17 November 2017) -- Prime Minister Duško Marković opened in Cetinje earlier today the Business Incubator, which is located within the industrial complex which used to belong to the former Košuta shoe factory.

The goal of the Business Incubator is to help the development of micro, small and medium enterprises during the first their years of operation. Thus, in the period of three to five years, entrepreneurs, new and existing enterprises will be staying in the business incubator according to privileged criteria (free space, utilities, consulting services, etc.), register their company and start their own business.

Business Centre Cetinje, as a local government authority, will be managing the Business Incubator, and providing free support to all users of the Incubator, ranging from information about potential sources of financing and support in administrative procedures to the free development of business plans and other documents.

The project was implemented with the support of the Government of Montenegro and UNDP, and the total value is more than 800 thousand euro.

The Old Royal Capital Cetinje, in cooperation with the four Cetinje companies (Eurogum, Montel, Zrnožit and Oziris), has purchased the area of the former Košuta shoe factory in order to carry out the project of establishing a business zone on the surface of almost 22,000 m2. The local administration of the Old Royal Capital Cetinje has purchased the former administrative building of 1,200 m2 for the purposes of establishing the Business Incubator and the Innovation Centre.
