Representative of Montenegro before the European Court of Human Rights Valentina Pavličić will participate, at the invitation of the Government of the Kingdom of Denmark and the Council of Europe, in the high-level conference which will be held from 22 to 24 November in the Kokkedal in Denmark under the title "2019 and Beyond – Taking Stock and Moving Forward from the Interlaken Process".

The reform carried by the Interlaken Process, including the results of high-level conferences held in Interlaken (2010), Izmir (2011), Brighton (2012) and Brussels (2015), have made significant progress, which is reflected in the strengthening of the principle of subsidiarity, improving the efficiency of the European Court of Human Rights, while indicating the need for more effective implementation of conventional standards.

Representatives of the Council of Europe member states will meet with the judges of the European Court of Human Rights, officials of the Secretariat of the Council of Europe, national parliamentarians and judges, as well as legal experts from the civil sector, where they will have the opportunity to directly present the problems that the conventional system faces, all in order to find ways to promote and protect human rights and to find ways to strengthen the authority and sustainability of the conventional system.
