Government’s officials to deliver speech at launching of "EU Support to the Rule of Law II" project
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice Zoran Pažin, Interior Minister Mevludin Nuhodžić and Minister for European Affairs Aleksandar Andrija Pejović, will deliver speech at the launching of the project titled "EU Support for the Rule of Law II" (EURoL II).
The event will take place at the CentreVille Hotel in Podgorica on 27 November, starting at 10:30.
Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Montenegro, Ambassador Aivo Orav, and ambassadors of Italy and Austria, Vincenzo Del Monaco and Anna Janković, Vice President of the Supreme Judicial Council of Italy Giovanni Legnini and Assistant Director of the Italian Police Nicolo D'Angelo, will also take part in the introductory part that is open to public.
The project is funded by IPA 2014 and is being implemented by the Italian Ministry of the Interior, in cooperation with the Supreme Court Council of Italy and the Federal Ministry of the Interior of Austria. The project aims to further strengthen the judiciary and law enforcement authorities in order to meet the criteria for Montenegro's accession to the EU, and the projected duration of the project is 36 months.
