PM Marković offers aid to his Albanian counterpart: Government of Montenegro will provide assistance to Albanian people and Government

Prime Minister Duško Marković expressed regret over the floods in neighbouring and friendly Albania and offered assistance to Prime Minister of Albania Edi Rama.

We are sorry for the huge floods that hit southern Albania, especially because of the casualties and great material damage in your country. Natural disasters do not choose place and time. Montenegro, among the first countries, wants to show solidarity to its neighbours, PM Marković said in his message.

The Government of Montenegro will provide both material and technical support in order to address the existing and prevent further consequences of the floods that paralysed huge part of Albania.

Neighbouring and friendly countries turn to each other first, and Montenegro will continue to contribute to regional solidarity and cooperation. Montenegrin Government and institutions will help you within the limits of their possibilities, Prime Minister Marković said to his Albanian counterpart.
