PM Marković meets with leadership of Municipality of Danilovgrad: Results achieved are worthy of exceptional respect; you can be example to others

Podgorica, Montenegro (8 December 2017) -- On behalf of the Government and on his behalf, Prime Minister of Montenegro Duško Marković congratulated the citizens of Danilovgrad, the municipal parliament members and the local leadership on Municipal Day – 9 December.

“There is enough reasons to celebrate this year’s Municipal Day with pleasure, because the results achieved in the past period are worthy of exceptional respect. This is also the basis for the optimistic vision of the development of your city. The fact that more than EUR 70 million of investments have been realised in the period 2012-2016, clearly speaks about the developmental momentum of the Danilovgrad municipality, which is above the national average by degree of development,” a congratulatory message of the Prime Minister sent to the Mayor of Danilovgrad Branislav Đuranović and the President of the Municipal Parliament Miodrag Đurović stated.

The Prime Minister further emphasises the valuable work on the realisation of facilities of road, communal and social infrastructure, which together represents a reliable basis for the improvement of life and work in the municipality of Danilovgrad.

“Through the Capital Budget for the next year, the Government of Montenegro will provide support to new development projects of importance for the improvement of life in your city. Danilovgrad is also a municipality of economic prosperity, which can be in this respect an example to others. The number of revitalised and new production facilities is encouraging,” the Prime Minister noted in his congratulatory letter.
