PM Marković congratulates Jews on Hanukkah: I believe that festive flame will light up your homes

Podgorica, Montenegro (11 December 2017) -- Prime Minister Duško Marković congratulated Jews in Montenegro and the President of the Jewish Community of Montenegro Jaša Alfandari on the eight-day Jewish holiday Hanukkah.

"The freedom and light that Hanukkah unifies are the characteristics of every prosperous society, therefore I believe that the holiday flame will light up the homes of all believers and fulfill them with plemented values – friendship and charity. I am convinced that the multiconfessional and multiethnic fund is based on the same foundations in Montenegro, and that holidays are the best way to remind and affirm human virtues for the benefit of all citizens," the Prime Minister's congratulations addressed to the President of the Jewish Community of Montenegro stated.
