DG of Directorate for Energy Efficiency: 48 health and educational facilities are reconstructed through energy efficiency measures
Director General of Directorate for Energy Efficiency at the Ministry of Economy Marko Radulović said at the press conference following the 54th Cabinet session that in the past eight year 48 health and educational facilities across Montenegro have been reconstructed through realization of two projects financed on the basis of international credits in the field of energy efficiency – Energy Efficiency Project in Montenegro focused on health facilities and the Energy Efficiency Programme in Public Buildings focused on educational facilities and partly on administrative facilities.
The first project has been implemented since 2009, while the realization of the second project started in 2012 and over the last eight years 48 health and education facilities in Montenegro have been reconstructed through energy efficiency measures. So far we have invested about EUR 35 million, Radulović said.
Hitherto we have reconstructed and adapted a total of thirteen educational and health institutions in Montenegro and invested around EUR 9 million – he said.
