Podgorica, Montenegro (2 February 2018) -- Regarding public complaints about the Anti-Corruption Agency's decision related to the procedures for determining the conflict of interest of the members of the Council of national broadcaster RTCG, the Government recommends the Council of the Agency to hold a special session and review the agency's activities in these cases.

The Government appreciates the importance the Agency has in the context of overall efforts in the fight against corruption, as confirmed by the positive assessments from the European Commission’s reports and, most of all, the results achieved, at the same time stressing the need to fully consider the aspects of its work of relevance for the advancement of the rule of law principle.
