PM Marković meets with representatives of inspection services: Fight against grey economy should be continued at same pace

Prime Minister Duško Marković held a regular monthly meeting with representatives of inspection services on Friday.

It was assessed at the meeting that the coordination of the inspection services in the previous year gave excellent results and that the current activities should be continued in this year, with additional attention being paid to the expenditure side of the budget.

The representatives of the inspection services presented the latest information on the undertaken activities. It is estimated that the first results of the work of the Commission for the suppression of the grey economy are encouraging, especially when it comes to controlling excise goods.

It was concluded that all competent services should conduct activities at the same pace and that further steps should be taken to improve normative and other prerequisites for an effective fight against the grey economy.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Ministers Milutin Simović and Zoran Pažin, Ministers of Finance, Economy and Sustainable Development and Tourism Darko Radunović, Dragica Sekulić and Pavle Radulović, as well as representatives of the Administration for Inspection affairs, Tax Administration and Customs Administration.
