PM Marković arrives in Pristina on official visit to Republic of Kosovo

Prime Minister Duško Marković arrived Wednesday afternoon in Pristina on a two-day official visit to the Republic of Kosovo.

A formal arrival ceremony with highest state honours was held in front of the seat of the Government of Kosovo.

Prime ministers Marković and Haradinaj, will give press statements following their official talks, at 17:45.

On the second day of his visit, the Prime Minister of Montenegro will meet with the Kosovo President Hashim Thaci and Speaker of the Parliament Kadri Veseli.

The first visit of the Prime Minister of Montenegro to the Republic of Kosovo will be an opportunity for further deepening of bilateral cooperation between the two friendly countries, through defining concrete joint activities and projects whose implementation could be expected in the time to come.

Prime Minister Duško Marković will discuss with Kosovo’s top officials the improvement of cooperation in the areas of economy, infrastructure, tourism, border security and cross-border cooperation. Meetings at the highest level will be an opportunity for direct exchange of views on current bilateral, regional and global issues in order to improve overall relations in the best interests of the two countries and the Euro-Atlantic future of the Western Balkan region.

Montenegro’s delegation also includes Interior Minister Mevludin Nuhodžić.
