The Cabinet passed the Information on the implementation of the Krnovo wind power plant project and accepted Annex no. 6 of the Agreement on land lease and construction of a wind farm at Krnovo locality. The Annex will, in accordance with the Law on Energy, provide conditions for concluding a contract between the investor and the Transmission System Operator on the purchase of a part of the infrastructure the investor has built, which is envisaged by the ten-year plan for the development of the transmission network. The discussion emphasied that for this purpose an EU grant of EUR 5.8 million was provided (as part of the grant for the Trans Balkan Corridor of EUR 25 million), which means that there will be no cost for Montenegro Transmission System, or there will be no reflection on the tariff of electricity end-customers.
