Montenegro delegation, headed by PM Marković, to take part in EBRD Western Balkans Investment Summit in London

Montenegrin delegation, headed by Prime Minister Duško Marković, will take part in London on Monday in the Western Balkans Investment Summit, sponsored by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).

The objective of the regional investment summit is to bring together the prime ministers of the six Western Balkan countries (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia) to present from the highest level the investment and business opportunities in the Western Balkan region in the context of attracting foreign direct investment and cooperation on cross-border projects.

The summit will be opened by EBRD President Suma Chakrabarti and Bulgaria's Prime Minister Boyko Borisov, as the country currently presiding over the European Union. UK Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sports Matt Hancock will address the participants of the Summit.

Apart from Prime Minister of Montenegro Duško Marković, the Summit will be attended by prime ministers of the six Balkan states - Ana Brnabic, Ramush Haradinaj, Edi Rama, Zoran Zaev and Denis Zvizdić.

As part of the Summit, PM Marković will sign the Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of Montenegro and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

Montenegro’s delegation also includes finance and economy ministers, Darko Radunović and Dragica Sekulić.
