LONDON: PM Marković meets with British PM Theresa May

London, United Kingdom (27 February 2018) -- Prime Minister of Montenegro Duško Marković took part in a reception hosted by Prime Minister of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Theresa May for the leaders of the Western Balkan Six on the occasion of the EBRD Western Balkans Investment Summit. PM May pointed out that the United Kingdom shares a common vision for the future of the region, which is based on European values and which contributes to the security of Europe. She noted that the Summit in London, under the Berlin Process, would have an ambitious agenda aimed at strengthening the economic stability of the region and promoting cooperation in terms of the political and security challenges facing the region.

In his talks with PM May, PM Marković expressed his gratitude for the support of the United Kingdom to Montenegro during our accession to NATO, as well as for the overall bilateral support to our country, emphasising the importance of further enhancing cooperation, especially in the field of economy.
