DPM Pažin: Montenegro and Holy See share common civilisation values

Deputy Prime Minister for Political System, Interior and Foreign Policy Zoran Pažin payed a working visit to the Holy See.

The meeting of the DPM Pažin and the Secretary of State of the Holy See Cardinal Pietro Parolin expressed mutual satisfaction with the quality of bilateral relations between Montenegro and the Holy See.

It was estimated that Montenegro and the Holy See share the fundamental civilisation values of peace and justice, which, in the absence of open issues and intense political dialogue, represent a stable basis for further productive cooperation in areas of common interest.

The meeting confirmed that Secretary of State Parolin will visit Montenegro this year for the first time ever, which will provide additional impetus to the development of cooperation in the spirit of traditionally good and friendly relations between Montenegro and the Holy See.

DPM Pažin used this opportunity to hold meetings with the representatives of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta and the Community of Sant'Egidio.
