DPM Pažin to lead Montenegrin delegation to Brussels
Deputy Prime Minister Zoran Pažin will lead the Montenegrin delegation, which will visit the EU institutions in Brussels on Tuesday and Wednesday, 20 and 21 March 2018. President of the Supreme Court Vesna Medenica will also be in the Montenegrin delegation.
On the first day of his visit, the Deputy Prime Minister will meet with European Commissioner for Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn and Director for Europe and Central Asia in the European External Action Service (EEAS) Thomas Mayr-Harting. Following these meetings, DPM Pažin will present to the European Parliament's Committee on Foreign Affairs (AFET) the progress Montenegro has made in meeting pre-accession negotiations.
On the second day of the visit, the Deputy Prime Minister will meet the EU member states, within the Working Group of the Council of the EU on enlargement (COELA), with key reform activities in the process of EU accession, focusing on the concrete results achieved in the area of rule of law.
