Project Strengthening Capacity for Implementation of Water Framework Directive in Montenegro to be presented tomorrow

The IPA Project "Strengthening the Capacity for Implementation of the Water Framework Directive in Montenegro" will be presented on Wednesday, 21 March, ahead of the World Water Day (22 March).

The project is realised by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in cooperation with the European Commission, which provided a grant of EUR 1.9 million, and the project objective is to improve the quality of water resources in Montenegro and to implement the EU Water Directive.

The meeting will be opened by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Milutin Simović.

Head of the EU Delegation for Cooperation in Montenegro, Hermann Spitz, will also address the public.

The presentation of the project will be held at Hotel Podgorica, starting at 10:00.
