Podgorica, Montenegro (22 March 2018) -- Minister of Transport and Maritime Affairs Osman Nurković publicly invited Montenegrin companies to propose to the Expert Negotiating team of the Government their conditions and models for participation in the construction of other sections of the Bar – Boljare motorway, on the principles of public-private partnership.

The Minister added that the Government gives special importance to a joint regional performance in the implementation of this Project, so in the future it will intensify cooperation with counterparts from Serbia in order to examine the possibility of joint appearance towards all potential, interested partners, available funds for financing, in order to ensure optimum conditions for continuing the implementation of the project, as well as economic and diplomatic activities aimed at attracting transit traffic flows through Montenegro.

                                                                                             

"The Government of Montenegro, or the Ministry of Transport and Maritime Affairs, as the responsible investor, is open to all concrete proposals and initiatives that can improve the realisation of both this Project and all other projects of strategic importance for Montenegro," Minister Nurković said.

At today's session, the Government of Montenegro adopted the Draft Law on Sports, which is the result of the balance reached between the intention of the Ministry of Sports to significantly improve the sports field, and objective opportunities. As Minister of Sports Nikola Janović announced, the Ministry of Sports thus showed readiness for dialogue, as well as understanding the real needs of sports subjects, and reached a compromise on the key issues arising from the Draft Law.
