Round table on Reform of the judiciary in Montenegro - achievements, challenges and perspectives

The Ministry of Justice, in cooperation with the European Union and the Council of Europe, through the Horizontal Facility for the Western Balkans and Turkey, as part of the project "Responsibility in the Judicial System", is organising the round table "Reform of the judiciary in Montenegro - achievements, challenges and perspectives".

The round table will be held on Monday, 26 March 2018, at Hotel Hilton in Podgorica, starting at 9:00 am.

During the round table, an Action Plan for the Implementation of the Justice Reform Strategy for the period 2017-2018 will be presented, which will provide a basis for discussion and summing up of the results achieved so far in the judicial reform process and the expectations for the next period ahead of the preparation of the Justice Reform Strategy 2019- 2023.

Introductory addressed will be delivered by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice Zoran Pažin, EU Ambassador and Head of EU Delegation to Montenegro Aivo Orav, Supreme State Prosecutor and President of the Prosecutor's Office of Montenegro Ivica Stanković President of the Supreme Court of Montenegro Mladen Vukčević, Deputy President of the Supreme Court of Montenegro Stanka Vučinić and Head of Operations of the Council of Europe Programme Office in Podgorica Angela Longo.
