PM Marković congratulates Jasa Alfandari and citizens of Jewish religion on Pesach

Podgorica, Montenegro (30 March 2018) -- Prime Minister Duško Marković congratulated President of the Jewish Community of Montenegro Jasa Alfandari and the citizens of the Jewish religion on the holiday of Pesach (Passover).

"In the spirit of this great holiday, based on the idea of freedom and independence, I am convinced that by strengthening intercultural and inter-religious relations in our country, we contribute to building a better society for every citizen and every family to whom Montenegro is home. It is in the Montenegrin tradition to cherish the noblest human virtues of respect and help to others. That is why this holiday reminds us to preserve noble ethical values and guide Montenegro through a European perspective for the benefit of every individual," Prime Minister Marković notes in his letter of congratulations.
