Vesko Damjanović is Acting Director of Police Directorate

The Cabinet, pursuant to Article 10 of the Regulation on the Government of Montenegro, without holding a session, on the basis of the obtained approval of most of the members of the Cabinet, adopted today a Decision on the termination of the mandate of the Director of the Police Directortorate Slavko Stojanović on personal request.

The Cabinet, in accordance with Article 9 paragraph 9 of the Law on Internal Affairs, has consented to the Minister of Interior to appoint an Assistant Director of the Police Director - Head of the Border Police Vesko Damjanović as the Acting Director of Police Directorate for the period of maximum six months during which a job vacancy will be advertised.
