H2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions: Individual Fellowships call open

The European Commission has opened the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) 2018 call for Individual Fellowships on 12 April 2018.

The goal of the Individual Fellowships is to enhance the creative and innovative potential of experienced researchers, wishing to diversify their individual competence in terms of skill acquisition through advanced training, international and intersectoral mobility.

Under this call, experienced researchers are those who, at the time of the call deadline, possess a doctoral degree or have at least four years of full-time equivalent research experience.

Experienced researchers should apply together with the host institution, and the choice of the research topic is open, i.e. the so-called bottom-up approach is applied.

There are two types of Individual Fellowships:

• European Fellowships – mobility from any country to an EU Member State or H2020 Associated Country. The duration for European Fellowships is between 12 and 24 months.
There are four panels/modalities offered within these fellowships: Standard Fellowship, Career Restart Panel, Reintegration Panel and Society and Enterprise Panel; and

• Global Fellowships – mobility from any country to a partner institution in one of the so-called third countries, with mandatory return to the beneficiary located in an EU Member State or H2020 Associated Country. The duration for Global Fellowships is between 12 and 24 months in a third-country partner institution, with mandatory 12-month return period to the beneficiary located in an EU Member State or H2020 Associated Country.
