Prime Minister Duško Marković said last night, following the EU - Western Balkans Summit, that he was satisfied with the results of the gathering since the theme was the Western Balkans for the first time after 15 years.

"It was unequivocally concluded that the European perspective of the Western Balkans is open, that it is there, and that it is up to us, the countries of the Western Balkans, to work on what is necessary in our countries to build standards and work on economic development. Today, by adopting the Declaration we have defined these political issues because we have made it clear that it is necessary for our region to develop better, primarily through the construction and development of physical infrastructure, developing a digital agenda, working on the mobility of young people and the region. I would say in one sentence that, in addition to the political message of enlargement perspectives, this Summit is the final decision of the European Union to provide the countries of the Western Balkans with the necessary financial and any other assistance to develop our resources for the needs of the citizens and the state," the Prime Minister said in an live interview with Television of Montenegro.
