DPM Simović: Government continues to support progress of Bijelo Polje and North

Bijelo Polje (6 June 2018)-- Deputy Prime Minister Milutin Simović met today with the Mayor of Municipality of Bijelo Polje, Petar Smolović. DPM Simović said that Bijelo Polje has opted for progress and Bijelo Polje wants and can achieve more as the entire North.

DPM Simović stressed out that the Government will fully support the achievement of these goals, in order to open more jobs in Bijelo Polje and other municipalities in the North, to diversify the economy, using all the available natural resources.

''First of all, here in Bijelo Polje tourism potentials should be valorised through further intensification of already started capital projects, agricultural resources, including forests, along with the modernisation of roads with traffic state and regional spine of the highway. Our common obligation is to work together on strengthening education, health, culture, sports and everything that implies a higher quality of life for citizens, " DPM Simović concluded.

Mayor Petar Smolović expressed gratitude to the Government for comprehensive support to local government and development of the municipality in the previous period. Smolović pointed out that the Municipality of Bijelo Polje will strive to justify the stated confidence, so in further good communication with the Government, they will create a good environment for a better life of the citizens of Bijelo Polje. He particularly emphasised that citizens of Bijelo Polje well understood the message which is the incentive and commitment to the realisation of all defined program goals.
