Minister Damjanović to meet with Director-General for Research and Innovation at EC Jean-Eric Paquet

Minister of Science Sanja Damjanović will meet today with Director-General for Research and Innovation at the European Commission Jean-Eric Paquet in Brussels.

Bearing in mind that the Regional Project - the establishment of the International Scientific Institute in South East Europe (SEEIIST) enters a more serious phase, which involves the preparation of the Main Project and the Business Plan, Minister Damjanović and Mr. Paquet will discuss the next steps of the project as well as the financial instruments for the implementation of this phase.

The meeting will be attended by Professor Herwig Schopper, who initially proposed the Initiative for the establishment of the Institute and Dr. Roy Aleksan, Chairman of the TIARA Consortium, which represents a consortium of the most significant organisations in the field of research and development of the accelerator.
