PM Marković wishes happy Ramadan Bayram: Montenegro is unique example in Europe of minority nations’ responsible attitude towards state

Podgorica, Montenegro (14 June 2018) -- Prime Minister Duško Marković congratulated Reis of the Islamic Community of Montenegro Rifat Fejzić and the citizens of the Islamic faith on Ramadan Bayram.

"Montenegro has long been building its civilisation perspective on the affirmation of multinational and multireligious harmony, as one of the fundamental values of the Montenegrin society. It is for this reason that our country is a unique example, not only in our region, but in Europe, where minority nations have such a responsible attitude towards the State," the Prime Minister’s congratulatory letter reads.

PM Marković expresses belief that the Bayram atmosphere with its warmth will further strengthen the readiness to dedicate thoughts and deeds to the overall good and exalted values of this great holiday.

"I congratulate you on Ramadan Bayram, hopeful you will spend it with your family, friends and neighbours, filled with feelings of respect, forgiveness and mutual attachment," Prime Minister Duško Marković concludes.
