Minister Nuhodzic's statement about the attack on journalist Olivera Lakić

I condemn the brutal attack on journalist ND "Vijesti" Olivera Lakic.

Personally, I am appalled by the fact that somebody has dared to commit violence against a woman and in such a cowardly manner. Police Directorate i.e. Ministry of the Interior, will do everything to investigate motives and find and prosecute the perpetrators. We will undertake all legally prescribed activities to resolve this case and bring the perpetrator to justice.

I assure you that the Government, the Ministry and I personally remain committed to protecting the freedom of the media and the safety of journalists as one of the most important values of any democratic society.
