Kolašin, Montenegro (18 June 2018) -- Prime Minister Duško Marković visited earlier today the construction site of the Kolašin 1600 ski resort, and on that occasion he warned the contractors and all the stakeholders involved in the process that they need to undertake additional activities to compensate for the backlog and implement this important development project.

He said he expects that 2018 will be the year of new economic achievements and that the implementation of the projects planned by the Capital Budget of the State need to be given priority, stressing that there is no negotiation and calculation in that regard.

"Government has defined infrastructure development and realisation of capital investments as its key commitments and prerequisite for creating new jobs and a better life for every family and every individual. In order to achieve economic growth, everyone has to do their part of the job," said the Prime Minister, adding that special responsibility in that chain should be taken by the Directorate of Public Works and the Directorate for Transport, that is, the companies that, through them, were selected to implements the projects.

The Prime Minister said at the construction site that this and every next year will be marked by direct and uncompromising supervision over the contractors - both in terms of quality and deadlines.
