Marrakesh, Morocco (23 June 2018) -- Minister of Public Administration Suzana Pribilović met with the President of the State Agency for Public Services and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ASAN) Ulvi Mehdiyev at the UN Public Services Forum in Marrakesh.

Minister Pribilović said that the opening of One Stop Shop in Montenegro is one of the most important activities of the Ministry of Public Administration in terms of improving public services on the principle of all services in one place. In that sense, she emphasized the importance of signing a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Public Administration and ASAN on cooperation and the establishment of an advanced public service delivery mechanism, signed last year, which should contribute to the opening of several one-stop shop centres in Montenegro ("One counter for everyone").

The interlocutors emphasized the full commitment of both sides and agreed to establish a joint working group that will prepare a plan of activities for the implementation of the One Stop Shop project in Montenegro and the full implementation of the Memorandum.

Mehdiyev said that ASAN will provide maximum support to Montenegro on the establishment of the first conventional "one stop shop" that would enable citizens to obtain in one place all the services and documents provided or issued by state administration and local self-government bodies. In this direction, a visit of the representatives of the State Agency for Public Services and Social Innovation to Montenegro was agreed to be in July.

In 2015, ASAN Centre received the United Nations Prize for the most significant improvement of public services on a world level. ASAN Centres include more than 250 services at the state and local level that are physically unified in one place, such as: issuing personal documents, passports, residence permits, certification of documents, registration of civil status, registration of companies, renewal of driver's license, banking and notarial services, payment of overheads, etc.
