Ministry of Public Administration to mark International Public Administration Day
The Ministry of Public Administration, in cooperation with the Office of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Montenegro, will mark the International Public Administration Day on Monday, June 25th.
In the introductory part of the meeting, the Minister of Public Administration, Suzana Pribilović and the permanent UN System Coordinator and permanent representative of UNDP in Montenegro, Fiona McCluney, will speak.
The meeting will be held at the UN Eco building (Street Dragojević bb) in Podgorica, starting at 1:00 pm.
After the introductory presentations, a panel discussion will be held on topic "Public Administration by Citizens' Measure".
In June 2002, the United Nations Assembly proclaimed June 23 as the International Public Administration Day. The celebration of the Public Administration Day aims to highlight the importance and contribution of public administration in the development of society and the community, at the local, national and global level. The goal is to promote the principles and values on which the work of public administration rests, to affirm the role and contribution of public officials in creating effective and responsible public administrations, as well as to encourage young people to develop their careers in the public sector.
