PM Marković on Tuesday at Summit of WB6 in London, meetings of Foreign and Interior Ministers on Monday

At the invitation of Prime Minister of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Theresa May, Prime Minister Duško Marković will take part in the Fifth Summit of the Heads of the Western Balkans Six in London on Tuesday, held within the framework of the Berlin Process.

The topics of the Fifth Summit are the improvement of the Western Balkans' security and cooperation on the challenges that threaten the region and Europe and the promotion of its economy and good neighbourly cooperation.

Alongside the Prime Ministers of the six Western Balkan countries, the Summit will be attended by Prime Ministers of the European Union participating in the Berlin Process, Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland Mateusz Morawiecki, as the host of the next summit in 2019, and European Commissioner for Enlargement and Neighbourhood Policy Johannes Hahn.

On the eve of the Summit, on Monday, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro Srđan Darmanović will visit London, at the invitation of Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs Boris Johnson. Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Western Balkans Six will discuss the issue of European integration with civil society representatives, and then discuss the bilateral cooperation, regional security and migration issues at a separate meeting.

Minister of Interior of Montenegro Mevludin Nuhodžić will participate in Monday's meeting of Interior Ministers of the WB6 in London. The topics of the meeting, hosted by Home Secretary Sajid Javid, are the cooperation and exchange of information in dealing with security threats and the promotion of a regional fight against organised crime, trafficking in human beings, terrorism and illegal arms trafficking.

Public Relations Service of the Government of Montenegro will provide the media with photos and video recordings of all events.
