Official launch of MIDAS 2 project on Wednesday in Municipality of Kolašin

Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Policy and Financial System and Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Milutin Simović, and the representative of the World Bank, Deputy Director of the SB for the Western Balkans, Ms. Lada Strelkova, will officially open the Second Project for Institutional Development and Strengthening Agriculture in Montenegro (MIDAS 2) on Wednesday, July 11, at the hotel "Four Points by Sheraton" Kolašin, starting at 11:00 am.

Following the successful implementation of the MIDAS 1 project, in the period from 2009 to 2017, the Government of Montenegro concluded with the World Bank a new EUR 30 million loan arrangement, which will be realised through the MIDAS 2 project in order to continue supporting the improvement of Montenegrin agriculture, the sector fisheries and food safety.
