PM Marković to deliver plaques to golden Montenegrin water polo players from Malaga 2008 on Wednesday

Prime Minister Duško Marković will deliver on Wednesday, on 11 July, plaques to the water polo team of Montenegro, which won the first place in the European championship held in 2008 in Malaga and thus the first golden medal for Montenegro after the restoration of state independence.

At the formal reception, which will be organised by the Minister of Sport Nikola Janović in Hotel Ramada at 1:00 pm, at the occasion of marking the 10th anniversary of the first Montenegrin medal, representatives, expert staff led by Petar Porobić and the leadership of Waterpolo and the Swimming Association of Montenego are invited.

Minister Janović, who was a member of the golden Montenegrin water polo team, will greet the audience, followed by a speech by Prime Minister Marković. The Prime Minister will hand over the plaques to the winners of the gold medals "In memory of one of the greatest achievements in the history of the Montenegrin sport, which gave a special contribution, the affirmation of the independence of the state of Montenegro".

After the reception, a cocktail party will be organised.

The Public Relations Service of the Government of Montenegro will provide the media with photographs and a video of the event.
