PM Marković meets with Andrijevica Municipality leadership: You are example of responsible relationship, Govt supports every sustainable project in North

Prime Minister Duško Marković said today at a meeting with leadership of the Municipality of Andrijevica that the Government will carefully consider and support all development projects in the northern region and that Andrijevica can serve as an example to other municipalities.
I congratulate the holiday to the citizens and the leadership of the municipality. From our last year's meeting in Andrijevicaa, only positive things happen. You are one of the municipalities that is responsible with municipal and state money. That is why each of your initiatives will be carefully considered by the Government, and any sustainable project in the North will be supported, Prime Minister Duško Marković said, who hosted the leadership of Andrijevica on the occasion of the Municipal Day.
President of the Municipality of Andrijevica Srđan Mašović, President of the Municipal Assembly Slavko Stijović and Chief Manager Miodrag Ivanović informed the Prime Minister about the work of the local government, emphasising that in Andrijevica all obligations are carried out in a timely manner and in accordance with regulations and that the focus of the leadership is on development projects, especially in the areas of energy, tourism, wood processing and fruit growing. It was emphasised that the works on three mini hydropower plants were completed, and that the projects or works are still in progress on additional six plants, one of which is municipal which should bring about EUR 300.000 annually to the local community.
Prime Minister Marković reiterated his personal commitment and Government's decisive support to the North Region, pointing out that Andrijevica's leadership is already initiating projects of tourist valorisation of resources for the period when the construction of the Motorway towards the north continues.
