Darmanović - Netanyahu: Present friendship is good basis for further development of two state cooperation
Minister of Foreign Affairs prof. Dr. Srđan Darmanović met with the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, today in Jerusalem.
During the meeting with the host, Minister Darmanović thanked for the warm welcome and pointed out the importance of the visit, stressing that it is the expression of Montenegro's desire and interest in strengthening political dialogue and overall cooperation with the State of Israel.
Montenegro is interested in strengthening ties with the State of Israel through intensifying cooperation in the domain of defence, economy and tourism, Minister Darmanović emphasised. He informed the interlocutors about the actualities and dynamics of the negotiation process within the EU integration of Montenegro, as well as the activities of our country within the NATO Alliance.
Israeli Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Benjamin Netanyahu agreed that the current friendship between the two countries represents a good basis for further development of cooperation.
At the meeting, particular emphasis was placed on the development of cooperation in the field of science and high technologies, bearing in mind the enormous progress, experience and leadership of the State of Israel in this field.
The interlocutors exchanged views on regional issues, and stressed the importance of constructive and responsible resolution of security challenges.
