Prime Minister hosts President of Berane Municipality: Marković, Šćekić agree that joint efforts should be made to develop and valorise resources of Berane without reservations and suspicions

Prime Minister Duško Marković and President of the Municipality of Berane Dragoslav Šćekić agreed that the Government and the Municipality see the room for joint action without reservations and suspicions to develop and valorise the resources with the aim of raising the quality of life and living standards of citizens.

Congratulating the citizens of Berane on tomorrow's Municipality Day, the Prime Minister reiterated the determination and commitment of the Government to the overall progress of the Northern Region. To this end, the creation of a special fund for the development of the North, which is supposed to accelerate development, is planned, Prime Minister Marković said.

The officials concluded that additional efforts should be made to enable the competent services to fulfill their obligations regarding the construction of the infrastructure in a timely manner.

The President of the Municipality of Berane thanked the Prime Minister for the reception, assessing the Prime Minister's decision to meet regularly with the heads of local self-governments as a good practice.

Director of the Agency for the Construction of Berane Miro Vešović and Adviser to the President of the Municipality for Economic Development Darko Stojanović also attended the meeting.
