"I am pleased that in the first year of this Government's term of office I have had the opportunity to witness together with you the implementation of important infrastructure projects in the municipality of Petnjica: opening of a new administrative building of the Municipality and completing the first phase of the Berane - Petnjica road. Precisely with these projects the Government has shown its care and support to one of the youngest municipalities," Prime Minister Duško Marković's congratulatory message to Petnjica citizens, members of the municipal assembly and local leadership on the occasion of the Municipal Day - 4 August reads.

In his congratulatory message addressed to Samir Agović, President of the Municipality and Mehmed Adrović, President of the Municipal Assembly, the Prime Minister reminded that in the past year, which was especially important for Petnjica and for the whole of Montenegro, overall efforts were crowned by NATO membership and achieving an economic growth of 4.4 percent, one of the largest in Europe.

"Continuing with overall social progress and additional economic growth of 4.5 percent in the first quarter of this year, the Government of Montenegro remains committed to balanced regional development, building infrastructure and valorising the vast natural potentials of the North. Therefore, I am convinced that more dynamic development is expecting Petnjica and the Bihor Region," PM Marković concluded.
