We welcomed the initiative for the Prime Minister to be the patron of the event entitled "The sky is not blue  anywhere as above Montenegro".

The famous song lyrics have already entered the collective memory of the Montenegrins thanks to the unmistakable voice of Ljubo Ševaljević, who through the song and music celebrates the beauty and values of Montenegro.

Tonight, ten years after his death, we have the opportunity to highlight his merits in affirmation of Montenegrin original music, its folk musical heritage and cultural tradition.

The fifty compositions performed by Ljubo Ševaljević were remembered as a permanent musical and cultural heritage and part of the identity of Montenegro. His voice, talent and love for the Montenegrin folk song gave the seal of the duration of his total creativity in which all generations of Montenegrins are enjoyed today.

Giving respect to Ljubo Ševaljević and other creators who unremittingly suggest the glory of Montenegrin melos, in the name of the Cabinet of the Prime Minister, we would like to thank the Organising Committee and all those who, with their presence, expressed a pious view of the interpreters of our folk music.
