Dr. Damjanović and Director of Clinic Centre Dr. Eraković in Zurich talk about creating Centre in field of Neurology and Radiology

The Minister of Science, Dr. Sanja Damjanović, and the Director of the Clinical Center of Montenegro, Dr Jevto Eraković, met on August 14, 2018 in Zurich, with Professor Thomas M. Kessler, President of the non-profit organization Swiss Continence Foundation and Head of the Department of Neurology University, Balgrist Hospital, University of Zurich, Switzerland, in order to establish cooperation that would primarily focus on improving the quality of health care in Montenegro, and on the basis of joint scientific, educational and health projects.

During the meeting, the first steps of cooperation were considered and one of the ideas was to create a diagnostic centre in the field of neurology and radiology, precisely with the help of the non-profit organization 'Swiss Continence Foundation'. The Centre would provide an attractive research in this area, with close cooperation with the University Hospital Balgrist, as well as the University of Zurich. In this way, excellent conditions, primarily for younger generations, would be enabled, using modern equipment, with the transfer of knowledge and techniques from renowned Swiss institutions, as well as through joint development research projects between Montenegro and Switzerland.

The Swiss delegation will visit Montenegro on September 6, 2018, when it will give a concrete proposal for the concept and budget of this centre.

On this occasion, the Minister Damjanović and Dr. Eraković visited the Balgrist hospital and got acquainted with the activities and research carried out in this prestigious institution.
