ADDENDUM: PM Duško Marković on official visit to Federal Republic of Germany tomorrow at invitation of Chancellor Angela Merkel

Montenegrin Prime Minister Duško Marković will pay an official visit to the Federal Republic of Germany on Friday, August 17, at the invitation of Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel.

The first official visit of Prime Minister Marković to Germany will be an opportunity for exchange of views with Chancellor Merkel, among others on the topics: bilateral relations and especially economic exchanges between Montenegro and Germany, economic cooperation of the countries of the Western Balkans, especially within the framework of the Berlin Process as well as European integration of Montenegro.

Prime Minister Marković  and Chancellor Merkel spoke in Trieste at the Summit of the Western Balkans on July 12 last year and on May 17 this year in Sofia at the European Union and the Western Balkans Summit.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION FOR THE MEDIA

The ceremony of the ceremonial reception of the Prime Minister of Montenegro with the highest state and military honors is scheduled for 12:15. After the welcome, Prime Minister Marković and Chancellor Merkel will meet at 12:30 a short tete-à-tete meeting, followed by official talks of delegations during a working lunch and at the end of press conferences (around 13:45).

The Public Relations Service of the Government of Montenegro will provide the media with photographs and videos of the visit of the Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Germany to Germany.

On the FTP server of the Government of Montenegro, video footage (hats) of the previous two meetings of Prime Minister Markovic and Chancellor Merkel were placed.
