Kolašin, Montenegro (28 August 2018) -- Prime Minister Duško Marković made an unannounced visit to the construction site of the "Kolašin 1600" tourist resort and expressed satisfaction that the works are now progressing well after the criticism he made during his previous unannounced visit on 18 June.

"Seventy days ago, we were able to conclude that the dynamics of the works was not satisfactory, there was a lot of delay in relation to the signed contract. Today, I can say with pleasure that the works are progressing well, that we have good dynamics and that the contractors are engaged at this locality, that they are conscientiously working to bring the works to an end," said Prime Minister Marković.

He expressed special satisfaction with the location that is going to become a serious winter and summer tourist resort.

"I believe that we will quickly create the preconditions for connecting the Kolašin 1450 ski resort with the Kolašin 1600 ski resort and gaining much greater potential. We have signed a contract on concession with an investor who will build hotels and apartments at this location, and I believe that Kolašin and Montenegro will have a new content that will contribute not only to the development of our tourism, but also to the entire Montenegrin economy," Prime Minister Duško Marković underlined.
