Mojkovac, Bijelo Polje, Montenegro (28 August 2018) -- Prime Minister Duško Marković made unannounced visits to the construction sites in the northern region and on that occasion expressed satisfaction with the projects that are being developed in accordance with the plan, but he issued serious warnings about the projects in which he identified delays and problems.

"We are here on the route of the first and second sections of the road in Bistrica regarding the Đalovića Cave project. I had the opportunity to make sure that the works go well and from this perspective, I believe that we will finish all the activities within the deadline," said Prime Minister Duško Marković in Bistrica at the construction site of the new road to Đalovića Cave.

Speaking about the works from the Mojkovac side of Bjelasica, the Prime Minister said that he had visited works on the way to Katun Žarski and that he is dissatisfied with what he saw there.

"There are serious problems that seem to be caused in the phases of the project preparation," the Prime Minister said, adding that he will pay particular attention to this situation.

As for the works on the road to Cmiljača, Prime Minister Duško Marković commended the fact that tenders were announced, suppliers selected and jobs contracted for the whole project - and that the dynamics of the project is satisfactory.

The Prime Minister said that, when coming to Bistrica, he visited the construction site of the bridge over Lim, which should connect Sutivan and Njegnjevo.

"I am not satisfied, we will have to do much more than we have done so far. We will talk to the contractor and responsible people in the directorate. We have to respond to the obligation that we have taken to ensure that citizens and pupils from this area do not get into an unpleasant situation," Prime Minister Duško Marković noted.

The Prime Minister said he will continue to monitor the dynamics of the projects important for the northern region.

"We will not give up on our intention to spend state money in a quality and responsible manner and to make changes visible on the ground," Prime Minister Duško Marković concluded.
