The process of accession negotiations is based on partnership between Montenegro and the EU member states, it was assessed at a joint meeting of the representatives of the Office for European Integration and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy.
Advisor to the Montenegro’s Chief EU Negotiator, Dragana Markovic, introduced members of the German delegation with the organization of the negotiating structure and activities and competencies of the Office for European Integration, in particular.
Advisor to the Montenegro’s Chief EU Negotiator, Dragana Markovic, introduced members of the German delegation with the organization of the negotiating structure and activities and competencies of the Office for European Integration, in particular.
She presented the progress made in the negotiation process and underlined the commitment of the Government of Montenegro to the implementation of obligations in the rule of law, bearing in mind new approach in the negotiation process and its focus on rule of law.
Markovic pointed to the importance of support provided by the EU to Montenegro UNDER IPA, and particularly emphasized the role of the Berlin Process and its contribution to the implementation of comprehensive reforms in Montenegro and the countries of the region.
