PM Marković: Death of Blagoje Cerović is loss for Montenegrin scientific and cultural community

On behalf of the Government and on his own behalf, Prime Minister Duško Marković expressed deepest condolences to the family of Professor Blagoje Cerović, stating that his death is a loss for the Montenegrin scientific and cultural community.

"The death of Blagoje Cerović is a loss for the Montenegrin scientific and cultural community. Blagoje Cerović belongs to the creators whose work marked the entire era of social and political life of Montenegro, whose identity and cultural integrity he gave a special contribution," the Prime Minister's letter of condolence reads.

The Prime Minister noted that Professor Cerović will also be remembered as a popular Mayor of Nikšić who has secured the economic, cultural and sporting character of an important urban centre. Professor Cerović also contributed to the establishment of the Faculty of Philosophy, by connecting it to regional and world scientific centres, this university is at the very top of the Montenegrin scientific community.
