PM Marković congratulates citizens of Nikšić on Liberation Day: Successful projects at state and local level are guarantee of further progress

Prime Minister Duško Marković congratulated the citizens and leadership of Nikšić on the Municipality Day – City's Liberation Day – 18 September, assessing that successful projects at the state and local level are a guarantee of further progress of Municipality of Nikšić and a better life for citizens.

"This year, the Liberation Day is happening in much better circumstances than in previous years. Thanks to the dedicated work and strategic approach of the local government, Nikšić is no longer the city the people are leaving nor a way station. Congratulations on your work. This not only strengthens Nikšić but also fosters state economic policy" – Prime Minister Marković said to President of the Municipality of Nikšić Veselin Grbović.

The meeting concluded that numerous implemented projects or projects whose implementation is ongoing or planned, such as the renovation of local infrastructure, the construction of a powerhouse, the home for the elderly, the western stands of the City Stadium, the reconstruction of the King Nikola Castle, with visible enhanced activity in the construction and state development projects in the field of transport, agriculture and energy, represent a guarantee for further improvement of the perspective of the Nikšić municipality and raising the standards and quality of life of citizens.

Secretary of the Secretariat for Finance of the Municipality of Nikšić Sanija Fatić also attended the meeting.
